Amphitheater Dedication

GREAT EVENT THANKS!
THANK YOU for making this a great event!
The rain stopped and we had a wonderful
sun-drenched ribbon cutting!
Special awards were given to: Baker Bednar & Associates, Fifth Season Restaurant, Superior
Beverage, and Tri-Area Electric for their volunteerism in supporting the fund raising and
construction of the Amphitheater. Many individuals from the across the community received
beautiful crystal awards to thank them for their teamwork.

The Nature & Arts project is truly an initiative that brought all groups together to work with ODNR,
Ohio Arts Council, Craig Beach Village and Milton Township to make the vision a reality!

Flip-Flop Fest!    Thursday July 2, 2009 - Gates Open 6pm, Band 7pm
Tickets are only $5 for adults and $1 for kids (accompanied by adult)! And you can
buy them only at the door.
Wear your Flip-Flops and Red White 'n Blue for this All-American Celebration!    Its a
"waterfront @ the beach" Country-Rock event for the whole family!

Enjoy a BBQ waterfront for purchase by The Fifth Season. New kids menu available! Plenty
of Barefoot Wine and Ice Cold MillerLite (and some dark beers too) for purchase with ID.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for kids accompanied by an adults. Buy tickets at the door for this
event.

"Healthy Living at Lake Milton!" Screening
Knowing your numbers for diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and metabolic syndrome is an important part of
staying healthy. It can help you know your risks and make progress toward a healthier you. That’s why Lake Milton
State Park and Lake Milton Nature Arts Council have teamed with Humility of Mary Health Partners to offer Know
Your Numbers, a two-part program. Healthy Living at Lake Milton!

Part One: is now complete. Thanks everyone who participated! We moved it to St. E's in Austintown -- rain!!

Part Two:
The Presentation

Location: Amphitheater at the Beach
All participants will receive test results and learn what the numbers mean. The presentation will also include
information on prevention, healthy eating and healthy lifestyle recommendations, as well as a question and answer
session.

Kids Dance Party! - July 2009
This event is open to all kids up to the age of 13. We're have a dance party at the amphitheater! This event is free
for the kids (and parents and other caretakers can come too). Food and beverages will be available for purchase. .

Kids Dance Recital! - Sunday August 2, 2009
We are pleased to host the first youth dance recital event to be held in Lake Milton. Area dance groups will preform
on our stage. This event will be loads of fun! Kids in the audience will get a chance to participate. "Dancing with
the Stars" at Lake Milton! Sponsored by Pepsi, StepInTime and Spotlight Dance Studio.

Band Starts at 7PM

Wine, Food and Select Beers at the Amphitheater! An Arts Event! September 2009
Enjoy us for the first fine food and beverage event...with the sounds of cool jazz! Waterfront! Artist will display their
works for purchase (or window shopping!!) Artists will offer items that will range from $10 and up. $5 donation to
enter. Food and Beverages available for purchase.

Come join Uncle Milty as we share pictures of Lake Milton fun over the years. This facilitated and agenda will allow
families around the Lake to share stories and good times.

Nature Programs with Katie, Park Naturalist
meet at the beach

Katie our Park Naturalist hosts numerous programs throughout the summer at Lake Milton. Some are on a set
schedule and some are "special events" that you will receive notice of via email (for instance, when the blue birds are
hatching or if Katie wants to share unusual animal behavior).

BEACH PARTY @ Lake Milton!
FRANKIE AND THE SENSATIONS
Saturday, August 8, 2009 - gates open 6pm, band at 7pm
NEW Amphitheater - at the Beach

Get ready to dance!!! This annual event is back by popular demand! It's the have-a-great-time family event of the
summer season! This party is very casual with flip-flops, grass skirts and bright colored flowery beach shirts a must!
Enjoy a wonderful waterfront BBQ for purchase by The Fifth Season Restaurant!

Katie our Park Naturalist and the Green Team will have plenty of games for the kids. Families are encouraged to bring
a blanket to sit on the Amphitheater lawn.

You must be 21 years old to purchase and consume adult beverages with state issued ID.

Adult entrance tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Kids are $5. Tickets go on sale July 21st at the state park
office, Lake Milton Pharmacy and other area businesses!
