The Lake Milton area is increasingly a popular destination for recreationers of all types. Its
more than 30 miles of shoreline make it a point of interest for residents and visitors to access
the lake and the many outdoor nature and art programs supported by its volunteers.
Although the area is becoming a popular spot for tourists during all seasons, in particular the
visiting population swells during the summer months of June, July and August. More than
500,000 visitors come to Lake Milton annually and the numbers continue to grow.
